Mary Frances calls the San Francisco Bay Area home and has been designing handbags since 1990. Her career as a creative entrepreneur began in her living room in the late 1980s when she began designing costume jewelry and just a few handbags as a hobby. That endeavor led to an incessant passion for handbag and accessory design. Almost immediately, Mary Frances discovered a natural creative instinct for handbag and accessory design, and within months the collection took on a life of its own. Since those days, Mary Frances has received numerous accolades including the honor of being named Accessory Designer of the Year by the prestigious 2004 Dallas Fashion Awards. Her eclectic and ever-changing handbags share one commonality: they are inspired by her personality. Mary Frances knows how to enjoy life, welcoming every day with energy, a fun-loving sense of humor and immense style. Her goal is to share this philosophy with others through her designs and through the customer service that she inspires her employees to provide. Mary Frances successfully balances running a business while having a family and traveling the world, always in search of new inspiration to incorporate into her designs.
